Do you have a copy of Fifty Shades of Grey gathering dust at the back of your bookshelf?

Don’t be embarassed: because now you can turn your literary guilty pleasure into cutting-edge theatre.

Poet and playwright Hannah Silva is performing her one-woman showSchlock! at the Rosemary Branch Theatre from 8 to 26 November, and needs as many copies as possible of EL James’ bestselling erotic romance novel to build her set!

Schlock! is a powerful and atmospheric show about gender, sexuality and power. Silva, an acclaimed vocal performer, takes the language of Fifty Shades, rips up, re-wires and re-shapes it using spoken word, subtitles and a loop station.

It’s been described as “a captivating and disconcerting experience” (NARC. Magazine) and “a whip-smart, irresistibly seductive tour de force” (Chris Goode).

To help out, please bring your copy/copies of Fifty Shades of Grey (any books in the series welcome!) to:
