Kids go free this summer: 1000s of tickets still available for top London theatre shows with Kids Week
- Over 200,000 tickets are still available for top London shows as part of Kids Week, Society of London Theatre’s annual audience development initiative
- Kids aged 17 and under can go to the theatre for free, when accompanied by an adult paying full price – plus two additional children can go for half price with every adult, all with no booking fees, until 31 August
- Launched in 1998, Kids Week is the longest-running audience development initiative of its kind and has enabled more than 2.7 million theatre visits

Monday 20 July 2026: From today until Monday 31 August, children aged 17 and under can see participating shows for free when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Each adult paying full price can also purchase up to two additional children’s tickets at half price – all with no booking fees, exclusively at OfficialLondonTheatre.com.
Over 200,000 tickets are still available as part of the promotion, allowing families to experience the magic of exciting new productions and fan favourites, for less this summer. Save on shows like Alice In Wonderland, Beetlejuice The Musical, Bluey’s Big Play, The Cat In The Hat, The Comedy About Spies, The Enormous Crocodile The Musical, The Gruffalo Live On Stage, Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain – The Best Bits, The Hunger Games: On Stage, Matilda The Musical, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Producers, Sinatra The Musical, The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Wicked, and Zog.
Kids Week also offers an exciting programme of activities, giving young theatre fans the chance to go behind the scenes and discover how the magic of theatre is made. These include Kids Week Curtain Calls where all Kids Week bookers in attendance can stay for a post-show Q&A or demonstration after the show, as well as Kids Week Workshops on an array of theatrical skills, from dancing, singing and acting, to science, magical illusions, game creation and puppetry!
