A storm, violent and destructive, reveals an enchanted island ruled by Prospero. In creating this fierce and ferocious tempest Prospero wrecks a passing ship and washes her enemies upon the shore. When they wake they find themselves lost on a fantastical island where nothing is as it seems.
A story of magic, love, revenge and forgiveness.

Eleven children, one island… an incredible adventure turns into a fight for survival.
Lord of the Flies returns after a sell-out run in 2018 and is the second production in our second year-long residency at The Greenwich Theatre.
Oscar Wilde
Directed by Ricky Dukes
14th – 25th May 2019
“Salomé, Salomé, dance for me. I pray thee dance for me…”
King Herod asks Salomé to dance for him… this request leads to The Dance of the Seven Veils and one of the most shocking, thrilling and scandalous climaxes ever seen on stage.
Originally banned in Britain, Wilde’s outrageously provocative Salomé comes to the stage in this exotic and exquisite new production and features as the finale to our second year-long residency at The Greenwich Theatre.
Salomé is suitable for ages 16 plus and contains full male nudity and scenes of a sexual and violent nature.
Artistic Director’s Note
“It is fantastic to be able to continue our relationship at our new home at the Greenwich Theatre building on our incredible 2018 Season.
2019 sees us create a fantastical new production of Shakespeare’s late great play The Tempest, that will see us transform the Greenwich Theatre into an elemental experience. Our hugely popular and epic production of Lord of the Flies returns, this time bigger and bolder. And finally, we complete the season with the scandalous Salomé by Oscar Wide. The production places sexuality at the fore, reimagining the famous role as a young sexually fluid male.
We look forward to welcoming audiences new and old to our epic space, our passion for bringing the classics to a contemporary audience holds no bounds.
2019 sees us partner with Terri Paddock to curate our post show debates and digital content, and Lazarus Associate Director, Sara Reimers will be curating a series of readings that addresses gender and sexuality in performance.
We are also extremely excited to offer over 500 tickets at £10 per production, these seats are not at the back, but put audiences right in and amongst the action.
2019 is going to be an explosive year.”
