David Ian Productions and the Ambassador Theatre Group are delighted to announce that Darren Day will star as ‘Tick’ in the international smash hit musical PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT in Woking from 15th February to 27th February 2016; Plymouth from 9th May to 14th May 2016 and Llandudno from 16th May to 21st May 2016.

Darren Day’s first theatre role was the title role in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, both in the West End and on tour internationally. His other West End theatre credits include ‘Danny’ in Grease; ‘Don’ in Summer Holiday and ‘Tony’ in Copacabana.
On tour, he has played the title role in Alfie, ‘Billy Bigelow’ in Carousel, ‘Pip’ inGreat Expectations, ‘Jesus’ in Godspell, ‘Frank N Furter’ in The Rocky Horror Show, ‘Cornelius’ in Hello Dolly and ‘Khashoggi’ in the Queen musical We Will Rock You. His TV credits include roles in Holby, Crime Stories, Doctors, The Bill,; Mile High and Hollyoaks. He is also well-known as a television presenter for shows including Just Kidding, Don’t Try This at Home, Clockwise, Teen Win Lose or Draw and You Bet!.
