GO BERSERK FOR THE CIRCUS
Breath-taking and death-defying are just two of the ways to describe the incredible Cirque Berserk! which comes to Darlington Hippodrome for a week from Tuesday 17 July.
When a show includes knife-throwing, gravity-defying somersaults, acrobatic displays from the ceiling, South American throwing weapons set on fire and the world famous ‘Globe of Death’, you know you’re in for an amazing night.
The 35-strong cast of performers is drawn from around the world, from as far afield as Kenya, Cuba, Mongolia, Brazil and the Czech Republic.
Direct from the West End and showcasing the finest in traditional circus thrills and skills, Cirque Berserk! celebrates the 250th anniversary of the invention of circus by bringing this treasured form of live entertainment bang up-to-date in a jaw-dropping spectacular created especially for the theatre.
