THURSFORD’S ENCHANTED JOURNEY OF LIGHT TO OPEN ON 3 DECEMBER 2020

Following recent government implementation of further lockdown measures impacting leisure, entertainment and hospitality venues throughout the month of November, Thursford’s Enchanted Journey of Light will now open to the public on 3 December. Customers who had purchased tickets for dates between 19 November and 2 December will have already been issued refunds which should reach their accounts within the next 5 working days. Customers are encouraged to rebook for another day.

For over 40 years, the tiny Norfolk village of Thursford has been the go-to destination for the magic of Christmas and 2020 will be no exception. A truly festive family treat, Thursford’s Enchanted Journey of Light will include an all-new indoor Wonderland Trail: a maze of steam engines, fairy-tale characters and an immersive experience of light and sound including one of the UK’s biggest kinetic light displays. The trail will lead through to a 4-acre Lantern Light Extravaganza: a beautifulbreath-taking outdoor installation of luminous sculptures, from a fantasy forest of jungle animals to the wilds of the North Pole.

The award-winning Thursford Christmas Spectacular, which is due to return in 2021, has entertained more than 6 million visitors of all ages from across the globe, becoming one of Europe’s biggest seasonal shows.
